About Us

Generate excitement

As a native of Arizona, I began formal dancing at the age of nineteen. Beginning with ballet, modern, modern jazz, hip hop, and funk, I started my formal training at Wagner’s Dance Studio, also studying at Dance Inc. and The Edge Dance Studio in California.

With MCC as my next stop, I took ballet, modern, and modern jazz performing in their “Fantasy Flight” dance performance and the musical rendition of “Anything Goes”.

I performed with Hart to Hart Entertainment, as well as dancing in the halftime show for the Super Bowl XXX. My next performance came with Desert Stages in Scottsdale performing in the musical “Footloose”.

In 1999 I started my partner training with Fred Astaire’s. In my two years with Fred Astaire, I competed, taught, and performed shows all over the valley of the sun. Embarking on the idea of “starting my own studio”, I left to teach on my own in 2001. I started with teaching non credit dance classes at MCC, City of Chandler and also teaching in conjunction with SCC. I taught group and private lessons at Fatcat Ballroom from 2011-2020. I competed professionally around the country from 2013-2016.

My proficiency includes many forms of dance, classical to social. My primary strengths in teaching are social partner dances . ie Cha Cha Cha, Salsa, West Coast Swing, Night Club 2-step, East Coast Swing, Waltz, Foxtrot, and Rumba.

My style of teaching is very laid back and relaxed, but is still a very learned atmosphere. Upon completion you will have a feeling of accomplishment accompanied by laughter along the way.
